Yeap, you are right. I called them, and they updated my sim card to a nano 
sim card for free. I don't know if it will be freee for every body, but they 
didn't charge me anything for the nano sim card.

It is my understanding that T-Mobile will happily offer you a Nano SIM if
you have an unlocked iPhone 5 which you want to activate on their network.
The same goes for most other carriers, but to be sure you just have to 
ask.
