RE: one new bug in ios13.6

2020-07-21 Thread chaltain
I might have just experienced the same thing on my iPhone 11, and I remember
this happening occasionally before, so it isn't new to 13.6, but shutting down
and restarting my iPhone 11 fixed the problem, at least for now.

Interesting
I've not really taken any notice of this if it's happening.

I'll have to take more notice from now.

It is the sound when you say get to the last app on your screen and flick right
with one finger.
It means VoiceOver cannot go any further.

You may also get this if you are trying to type where there is no edit field.

But, I found one situation where I heard the sound when in an Email to field
and had typed a wrong letter. When I backspaced it made that bonk sound, but
that is the one and only place where I've heard that when backspacing.
Anywhere else when editing, it says the letter I am backspacing over.

I'm not a braille user but I'm sure I've seen that reported by a number of

that wasin a later report .

Hi folks

I noticed 2 bugs I cannot understand while so many beta testers did not report
this issue.

When typing text and deleting a character, you hear the bonk sound which is not
a pleasant thing.

When typing brail with a brail device the shortcut to bring forward the virtual
keyboard space dot146 is bugging and will only hide the keyboard with my iphone
XR 64 GB.

The bonk sound when proceding to another paragraph or deleting signs has been
confirmed by many users on accessibility facebook groups.

Before you do that, what exactly is your setting under VoiceOver, Verbosity,

But, I found one situation where I heard the sound when in an Email to field

Anywhere else when editing, it says the letter I am backspacing over.

report this issue.

When typing text and deleting a character, you hear the bonk sound which is
not a pleasant thing.

When typing brail with a brail device the shortcut to bring forward the
virtual keyboard space dot146 is bugging and will only hide the keyboard
with my iphone XR 64 GB.

The bonk sound when proceding to another paragraph or deleting signs has
been confirmed by many users on accessibility facebook groups.

Sorry but this trick does not resolve the bonk sound bug. You always get the
tok sound when deleting text at the end of a phrase. It has been reported
over and over again.

one new bug in ios13.6

2020-07-18 Thread Davy Cuppens

Hi folks

I have restarted and then reset my phone and now the keyboard visibility bug
has gone but I still have the bonk sound bug which has been reported over
and over on accessibility groups on facebook.

Hi Davy,

I believe I have seen on another list I'm on, many users repoportting the
braille issue you speak of.

I'm not a braille user but I'm sure I've seen that reported by a number of
folks out there,
And I thought reported it was corrected in Ios 13.6 but maybe that wasin a
later report .

Hi folks

I noticed 2 bugs I cannot understand while so many beta testers did not
report this issue.
