Amazon puts their basic Bluetooth keyboard on special from time to time for 20 bucks USD. If your not in that big of a hurry it's well worth waiting for. Note: The Amazon Basics Bluetooth Keyboard will not work with windows computers. The keyboard measures around 10 inches from left to right as your at the keyboard. Around 5 inches from front to back. and less than inch at it's thickest part. It uses 2 triple A. batteries supplied. The batteries in mine have been in the keyboard sense March 2013 and are still going strong. Note this keyboard does not fold in half which makes it great to place across your knees and type away. The keys are called chicklet style keys meaning the keys are close together. If you can type on a Netbook computer, this keyboard should be any problem for you. I'm a touch typist and the Amazon basics Bluetooth keyboard poses no problem with typing. I've used this keyboard on my iPhone 4 running iOS 7.04 and on my iPhone 5s. Of course on the 5s it works much better but even on my iPhone 4 it's much faster then the virtual keyboard. This is a good little keyboard if you want to drop it in a back pack. If your going to do much of that though, I would strongly suggest getting the matching keyboard case made by Adore June for 20 bucks. That sounds like quite a bit, however it does provide greater protection and you can also drop in a couple of extra triple A. batteries just in case. I've carried this keyboard around in my back pack and thank God it doesn't add much more to your load. I forgot to add that there are 5 rubber feet on the bottom of the Amazon Basics Bluetooth keyboard. Placing the keyboard on a table top or desk top keeps it right where you put it and no need to go chasing it around if you type fast. Even better, I use a Logitech Easy Switch 811. One thing better about this keyboard is that it is rechargible by USB port instead of having to buy batteries. I use the handwriting feature on my iPhone, but there's no way I'd ever be as fast with the handwriting feature as I am with a keyboard. I don't think this has anything to do with blindness, since I think sighted people are also faster typing than handwriting and would prefer a keyboard over handwriting in many situations. I find the Amazon basics Bluetooth keyboard of very comfortable keyboard to use.
