renaming photos and videos in the gallery

2021-12-03 Thread Donald Raikes
Hello,
Recently I received a video via text message and saved it to my
gallery. When I lookin the gallery, all I see is the date and the
fact that it is a video.

Is there a way to rename items in the gallery?

Also how do I move the video into an album?

RE: Renaming photos/videos in IOS?

2019-01-28 Thread Richard Turner
If you do the two finger double tap and hold on the photo or video you want to
name, and wait for the sounds, an edit box will come up.
Enter the title you want.
Flick right a couple of times to the save or OK button and double tap.
The name will stick so long as that phone/video is on your phone.

Hi Bhavesh,

This hasn't been mentioned here in a long time, but it's been possible ever
since the custom labelling feature was introduced which I think was with iOS
5 or 6). Just keep in mind that they are custom labels which are only in
effect on whichever device you are on when you define them, they don't sync
to other devices and if you copy photos off your phone to a PC they don't
apply.

Hi Wayne,

I don't use the labelling feature for pictures so I can't confirm whether
labelling a picture and then taking more photos will get rid of the label.
Maybe somebody else can try it and confirm.

with the images.
Thanks a turn for this tip.

RE: renaming photos

doing a 2-finger double tap and hold, then enter a custom label.
