The button after Stop reads Echo. Does anyone know what that button does? I'm afraid to touch it as the one after it, Phone Volume, when I last hit it by mistake, silenced my phone until I got a sighted friend to hit it again for me. Thanks. Re: the updated TuneIn radio app
Echo takes a snapshot of your now playing screen to share as a photo with your friends. It also seems to give a link in the photo so someone can find it easily. Not a big fan of it, I hit it by accident the other day but that's what I understand it doing. Hope this helps. Re: the updated TuneIn radio app
I can see all my favorites with the new TuneIn app, and play them fine, but for some reason any new station I try to listen to isn't wanting to play, and I can't figure out how to add new stations to my favorites list. Hopefully I'll eventually figure it out, and maybe I'll check out Ootunes to compare the two apps, and see which I like better. Right now it is ooTunes, though I am open to other radio apps if they are easy to use. True that ooTunes hasn't been updated in awhile but it has my favorite stations, and several that are from Clear Channel that I can't get anywhere else. Plus, I like how you can shake the phone to start/stop a stream. I have closed the TuneIn app from the app switcher and relaunched it with no favorites in the profile tab. Sigh. I guess they will show up eventually but it would be nice to be able to keep using the same old app I've gotten used to. Anyway, on my profile tab in addition to the following/followers buttons and the settings button, I find my name and username, and another heading for what a couple of people I know are listening to. I may have to swing over to ooTunes for a bit while TuneIn straightens all this out. I don't usually bail on an app after an update like this, but this is really awkward.
