I just talked to somebody at Apple Accessibility, and he does think that it
might be some kind of problem with image description. When I shared the screen
and showed him examples of what it is doing, he said that yes, it was trying to
describe an image that was there. Turning on image recognition gave a better
description of the image, but turning it off, as it were, didn't turn it
completely off. He is going to talk to somebody about it, being that he was
able to duplicate the problem on his device, and will allegedly get back to me
on Thursday, early evening. He said that the others who are experiencing this
should report it to them, being that the more complaints they have about a
given issue might make it seem more important.

No on the back of the case that the pods pro come in,
that’s the wireless charging case,

if you flick the lid of the case open,
approx. half a centimeter below the lid on the back panel, you should be able
to feel a button that is very slight but if you pres you will feel it.

The little things on the pods are not what you are looking for.

Just forget the pods and then start again to pair them.

I’ve rebooted my phone. I actually tried to do a hard reset, but I’m not sure I
succeeded with that. It said to press volume up, down and then hold power until
it reboots, but it never came back. So I was able to just reboot it and I have
no idea if it reset. But I’ve recycled power and Bluetooth for sure.
I don’t want to reset all network settings if I can hep it because I’d have to

Subject: Cannot connect Airpods or Airpods Pro

I have both Airpods and Airpods Pro.
The other day I was using my Airpods Pro and they suddenly disconnected. I
could not get them to reconnect.
So following various online advice, I told the phone to forget this device, and
I restarted the phone.
I then discovered that my original Airpods also don’t connect. I can connect
them both to my old Ipad running iOS 12 so it’s probably not the pods.
But when I try to reconnect them the phone says they’re not my airpods. Things
I read online says this is because they haven’t been forgotten. But they don’t
appear so no way to forget them again.
I try pressing the button on the back of the Airpods to no avail. I can’t
figure out what to press on the Pros because I never had to do that in the
first place.
My phone is an 8+ so I know it’s older, but things were all fine.
All of my other Bluetooth devices that are not the airpods of either kind are
connected and working fine.
Why not the airpods?
I tried to call Apple aCcessiblity and waited on the phone more than two hours
before giving up.
Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

Deb

There’s a long thing on the back of the airpods pro,is that the button? And yes
I don’t want to reset all network settings if I can hep it because I’d have to
repair my watch and all I assume.
Ugh.

Hi,

Same thing,

On the back of the pro case is a button you can press to reconnect your airpods
pro.

Also have you rebooted your phone since having this issue occur?

Hi all. I just got the new magic keyboard for the iPad that I haven't gotten

do I do the same with the keyboard? I haven't been able to figure that out.
Thanks. There are no function keys on this keyboard, the other question is
how to I disable the trackpad?

RE: the faltering accessibility of DoorDash

2021-05-07 Thread Viola Bentson
Hi Carrie, I don't usually send out me too messages. However I agree about
doorDash my husband works out of the house but I don't and I order a lot! Too
much probably, and I'd be lost without my DoorDash. I have figured out work
arounds for their awful app that used to be great. I too have contacted them
with absolutely no response.

I am strongly considering it. However, the minimum on dash pass is $12, whereas
the minimum on Eats Pass is $15. Since I am working from home and my husband is
not, a lot of times, I am ordering just for myself and that three dollars can
make a significant difference, believe it or not. I am going to hang out as
long as I can. Most definitely, the app is becoming more and more inaccessible.

I just got the new 2021 iPad pro and when I go to the app store and double
tap on "my account" I see everything the same but it says "sign out" at the
bottom not recently updated. I would like to see if my apps need to be
updated. How do I make the app store look the same as my iPhone 12 pro max?

Thanks in advance.

Hi.
Yes I have noticed this. My work-around? Go into my orders tab. Double-tap on
the "view restaurant" button for the order I am looking for. Don't use the
feature to quickly add previous items you may have ordered. I usually will
swipe up with three fingers to get past that part. Then I can go through the
menu to add what I want... whether it was ordered before or not.
I hope this helps.

We just bought the TOA-70 combination by Cuisinart. It has turning dials and

could use it unmarked. It does everything—bake, convect, air fry, toast and

Hello,

I have been using one of the Cosori Smart air fryers for a couple of years now.
They work with Alexa, but also have an app that for the most part works well
on my phone. For a while with the app you still had to actually press the
start button on the fryer . but honestly I use Alexa the majority of the time
or the Alexa app on my phone. The app that actually is used is: Vesync.

The model which I had recently went through a recall, but they replaced the
unit, so all is good now ..

Hi, is there air fryers that are accessible that allow you to use an app to
control them? Has anyone done a demo on them? Yes I would want it accessible

RE: Shokz Openfit headphones

2024-02-11 Thread Viola Bentson
Hi Richard. I just bought these headphones, and I really like them, however, is
there no audio cues as to battery status? Sorry if you’ve covered this already.
I really liked the way they fit with no band around the back of my head.

If you do not get enough volume from the headphone control, you have to turn it
up with the phone volume control. Make sure they are sitting on the bone in
front of your ears.

These arrived today and I’m very pleased with them. Is there a way of
increasing the volume, other than using the volume buttons on the iphone?

Re: Family Sharing with Voice Dream Subscription

2024-04-05 Thread Viola Bentson
I usually don’t send these kind of messages to a list but I would like to know
the same thing. I did subscribe also to the $59 plan.

Subject: Family Sharing with Voice Dream Subscription

Greetings:
This is not to debate the new subscription plan. This is a question regarding
Family Sharing on the iPhone. And I am going to email support as soon as I send
this message.
Last evening I subscribed to the annual plan $59.95 on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I
have Family Sharing turned on and my wife and I both have sharing enabled. We
share the 2TB plan with Apple. But we have not been able to see third party
apps such as VDR or the other apps that I am supposed to have available for
family sharing.

According to my settings I have all the boxes checked. My wife has sharing
enabled as well. I am wondering if there is something we are missing?
Thanks in advance.
Merv
