Re: [volt-nuts] Looking for Datron 4808 Service Manual

2015-09-15 Thread Joe D'Elia
Unfortunately I have looked at all the sources I could find including
Didier's site and the only place I found a 4808 service manual was Manuals
Plus but when I placed the order I was told it had just been sold and it was
their last copy! So I really am dependent on finding someone who has a copy
and is prepared to share or sell it.

2015-09-15 Thread Joe D'Elia
Thanks for all the pointers to Didier's site, unfortunately he only has a
copy of the User Manual. Sadly, like all the PDFs of that manual that are
available on the free sites it is incomplete missing vital sections 7 and 8,
System Verification and Routine Calibration respectively . I have found a
source of a complete User's Manual and am waiting to receive that but need
the Service Manual Pts 1 & 2 to get the unit to a condition that I can
calibrate it.

Joe

I may be able to gain access to a printed service manual via my previous
employer and if they have one I would need to ask their permission to
borrow it. I think this is important enough to do yo get a PDF and make it
available to the volt-nut community.

I will put the wheels in motion in the morning although it will take some
time.

Kind Regards
