[VO]: Improving obsolete products
BlankHowdy Vorts, Consider that industry does not have an engine that is designed to run specifically on hydrogen which is a promising future fuel. Makes one wonder why a firm would select an obsolete diesel engine in an attempt to improve on the poor original design In the quest for new energy we may well be neglecting the need for engine designs that can use this new energy. The market needs a small 1/4 ton pickup truck. Will this new product use a diesel engine.? VW says they have a diesel hybrid engine coming.ditto Renault, Japan and China. http://www.detroitdiesel.com/about/press/ Richard Blank Bkgrd.gif

In reply to Jed Rothwell's message of Fri, 16 Nov 2007 15:21:50 -0500: Hi, [snip] See: Brown, J., Enhanced low energy fusion rate in metal deuterides due to vibrational deuteron dipole-dipole interactions and associated resonant tunneling between neighbouring sites, in arXiv.org. 2007. Resonant tunneling between sites should yield the normal product ratio. IOW one would expect neutrons proportional to heat IMO. Regards, Robin van Spaandonk The shrub is a plant.
