[Vo]:Low-Energy Nuclear Reactions Sourcebook

2010-02-19 Thread Jed Rothwell
You can see a list of papers and download the Sourcebook EndNote
records for Vol. 1 here:

http://pubs.acs.org/isbn/9780841269668

It looks like you can get the full papers if you have sponsored
access. I do not know what that is.

Vol. 2 is here:

http://pubs.acs.org/isbn/9780841224544

The names in both sets of EndNote records are messed up. I have
corrected them in my versions.

I just finished cleaning up my EndNote file, fixing about 150
duplicated and incorrectly entered author names. The full corrected
database is, as always, here:

http://lenr-canr.org/DetailOnly.htm

That's in my own ASCII format. EndNote is more convenient, but you
can't read it on line.

The EndNote export format for one of the Sourcebook entries looks like this:

%0 Book Section
%A Chubb, S. R.
%D 2008
%T Resonant Electromagnetic Interaction in Low-Energy Nuclear Reactions
%B Low-Energy Nuclear Reactions Sourcebook
%C Washington, DC
%I American Chemical Society
%P 99-123
%S ACS Symposium Series
%! Resonant Electromagnetic Interaction in Low-Energy Nuclear Reactions
%@ 0-8412-6966-1
%X Basic ideas about how resonant electromagnetic interaction (EMI)
can take place in finite solids are reviewed. These ideas not only
provide a basis for conventional, electron energy band theory (which
explains charge and heat transport in solids), but they also explain
how through finite size effects, it is possible to create many of the
kinds of effects envisioned by Giuliano Preparata. The underlying
formalism predicts that the orientation of the external fields in the
SPAWAR protocol (1, 2) has direct bearing on the emission of
high-energy particles. Resonant EMI also implies that nano-scale
solids, of a particular size, provide an optimal environment for
initiating Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR) in the PdD system.

%O doi: 10.1021/bk-2008-0998.ch006
%U http://dx.doi.org/10.1021/bk-2008-0998.ch006

In my DetailOnly file it is reduced to this, with no abstract because
I do not have the paper on file:

AU=Chubb, S. R.

Chubb, S.R., Resonant Electromagnetic Interaction in Low-Energy
Nuclear Reactions, in Low-Energy Nuclear Reactions Sourcebook. 2008,
American Chemical Society: Washington, DC. p. 99-123.

That means ACS is giving those papers away for free.

This book is not properly described. Actually, it is collection of
papers given at an ACS meeting. I'm glad to see it is available for
$175. The ACS wanted $400 to sell me 100 preprints of only my
contribution.
