oh, before I get stoned to death by the FUD patrol :-D

I'm not claiming we already do *exactly* what he wants.  I am, rather, 
interested in how *related* what he wants is to the VOS model; in the 
sense that if it is, then it might be easy for us to add a few 
interesting features based on his ideas.

I can't actually *watch* the talk, though, as stupid google video doesn't 
work in China.  If anyone is interested, can you please watch, and post a 
summary?  In particular, how much it's relevant to the way we're already 
doing things ("named data" sounds a lot like "vobject" from my chair).

That's ok. Nothing stops you from adding whatever fields you want to the 
message, and for Terangreal to check for the field for the position 
property. This is why fields have names.

Pete's idea of having extensible method types is interesting though, 
might be useful.
