 Thanks, I'll dump vimgdecode then.

Have a good Christmas.

Hello Zapek

Thanks for an early Christmas present. Unfortunately, on my 060 it Gurus
every time if downloading anything with images.
Switch of images and its seams OK.
It's very quick particularly scrolling.

Oh yea, it locks the Amiga everytime when quitting 'V'

BTW Should I have Vimgdecode_68060.vib and 'Vimgdec_68060.vib' in the
plugins dir. ?

Cheers

Brian

I've noticed this too on occation, but not all the time.

I have, and wish I hadn't. It threw a severe wrench in the works,
where 122 would occationaly cause the above mentioned trouble, 125
does it like clockwork. Worse still, it doesn't crash politely like
122 did. When 125 goes down, it takes everything with it.

using 3.3.125 on Amithlon, 16bit screen, >600M ram.

2002-12-24 Thread Don Cox

There seems to be a problem with 8 bit screens on Amiga.

A4000/060, Picasso II, 8 bit 1024x786.

The new version loads OK. It opened the home page, which is a list of
bookmarks (no images), but there was a blue streak on the display.
Probably a sign of trouble.

Clicking a link immediately locked up the computer. Error message from
Smartcrash was "Exception 8: Privilege violation, Task V"

Couldn't grab the list of pointers etc as the Amiga was frozen.

Using 3.3.122 on Amithlon (on a 32 bit screen), Voyager itself works OK,
but after quitting from it, the screens of other (non-MUI) programs are
corrupted.

Haven't tried 125 on Amithlon yet.

That's just a titlebar string :) I should change the build system to update
that on releases.

[voyager] Shutdown Crash

2002-12-24 Thread Steve Turner

First thanks to all involved in the new 3.3.125 68k build, it seems much
faster.

Now to the problem,
Every time I shut V down it crashes with a garbage filled requester
(error #8003) to suspend or re-boot.

I use an old version of textinput.m?? so that AmTelnet works ok.

I have towered A1200 with 28MHz '040 MMU/FPU, Z4 busboard with CV64-3D and
cybergraphx on 16bit 1024x768 screen. About 24Meg usable fast mem and 1.8Meg
graphics mem.

Happy Christmas
