[voyager] xoom websites?

1999-07-08 Thread Bablos

Hi There...

I seem to remember someone bringing this up some time ago, but I
don't ever recall anyone answering it.

I've been trying to access the following website;

http://members.xoom.com/Lord_Emrys/amber.htm

Whilst AWEB-II displays it just fine, V returns the error message;

Link broke (-1, Errlist lookup error)

Can anyone shed any light on this at all?

Well, I used to have this very same problem two weeks ago. I changed
nothing on my setup the past couple of weeks, tried again two days ago
(just for the fun of it) and it worked. Seems to me the problem lies
with xoom, not with V? On some xoom pages IBrowse works fine, yet it
refuses to load other xoom pages, on others V works fine, but it can't
load the pages IBrowse can. Two weeks later, it's the other way
around.

Here's another thing: I included the xoom counter on my homepage (lets
call it somename/index.html for now, since it is in such an unfinished
stage that I wouldn't want you all to visit it yet ;-)). Now if I load
somename/index.html, the counter doesn't appear. If I load somename/,
the index page appears with the counter? As said, I think it's xoom
that is faulty, not V, but it still is annoying behaviour.

I just visited the above site, and it loaded fine? Don't know, but
something strange is going on at xoom.

I have problems loading about every home page on members.xoom.com using
Voyager 2.95, even my own test page (just the index for some pictures)..

Unable to open document
http://members.xoom.com/peoyli/
Link broke (-1, Errlist lookup error)

The other files (the links in the index) works just fine...

The error pops up on all html files (I have renamed my index to
"test.html")

Well, just visited your homepage, clicked as many links as I could
find, and it all seems to work (your services still under
construction, if you want proof that I really visited you ;-)). No
problem here with Voyager.

Hello Steve

i got also problems to load my hompage (witch is on xoom) with voyager.
IBroswe has no problems with my site!
So you're not alone with your problem.

Maybe some ppl can try to load my homepage with voyager and report if it
works or not.

1999-05-02 Thread Steve Beek

G'Day All,

I have tried to join xoom but found that I can't as the input field
for 'Country' isn't there? Is this a problem with xoom or Voyager??
The address is http://xoom.com/home/ if anyone else wants to try it.

Cheers,
Steve
