Maybe a simple workaround would be to have nasm in a fedora specific _DEPENDS variable and keep the fixed version for RHEL/CENTOS? Yes, since Fedora has 2.12 downstream, I will do that in the next patch series which I am working on now. [vpp-dev] VPP 17.10
Hi, I've seen a couple of references to VPP 17.10, but can't find a planned release data. Can someone tell me the planned date? Or, better yet, point me to a URL with the information if it exists? Also, regarding VPP 17.10, will it be based on DPDK 17.08 (planned for August)? Thanks, Tim ___ vpp-dev mailing list vpp-dev@lists.fd.io https://lists.fd.io/mailman/listinfo/vpp-dev

[vpp-dev] Issue while running VPP inside docker container
Hi All, I am trying to run vpp inside a docker container. The container is running Ubuntu 14.04. I am using Docker version 1.12.6, build 78d1802. Following are the steps which I am following: 1). Create a Vagrant VM using image ubuntu/trusty64 and provider Virtualbox with 5120 MB of RAM. 2). Add vm.nr_hugepages=1024 in /etc/sysctl.d/20-hugepages.conf on Vagrant VM 3). Create an Ubuntu 14.04 Docker container. 4). Install vpp 17.07 rc1 debian pacakges. Following is the list of the deb files installed inside the container: vpp-api-java_17.07-rc1_amd64.deb vpp-api-lua_17.07-rc1_amd64.deb vpp-api-python_17.07-rc1_amd64.deb vpp-dbg_17.07-rc1_amd64.deb vpp-dev_17.07-rc1_amd64.deb vpp-lib_17.07-rc1_amd64.deb vpp-plugins_17.07-rc1_amd64.deb vpp_17.07-rc1_amd64.deb 5). I am using the default startup.conf file 6).
