I am using the fully paid Avast Premium Security software.

According to a friend in Toodyay:-
"apparently it can record your keystrokes and possibly gain access to your
passwords and login details"

I wish I had got it’s name before I asked Avast to delete from quarantine.
If I get it again I will make a note of the name so I can do more research.

No experience of it here. What is it supposed to be doing, apart from

Bad Virus on the loose !

2019-10-28 Thread Stephen Chape
Hi folks.

Please lookout for this.
It seems to be arriving by email as a Word attachment.
I have received about 15 emails containing it since yesterday.
Some are from friends, some from Bigpond and some from the ATO.

Luckily my Avast Anti-Virus and Web Security software is catching them.
Just received two more as I type this.

A friend in Toodyay has told me it has infected the Toodyay Shire computers and
is now spreading via their contact list.
And I am hearing that it is also in the UK.

Regards,
Stephen Chape
