Re: CAN I UPGRDE TO MOJAVE FROM HIGH SIERRA

2018-10-22 Thread Marcus Harris
Thanks to everyone who responded to my query.
My 2009 iMac is still running very well on MacOS High Sierra, therefore I’ll
hang on for another year to Upgrade the hadware.
It’s a credit to Apple that aniMac just runs and runs with free upgrades.
Cheers
Marcus

For anyone who runs or relies on using Filemaker Pro 17, please be aware that
there are many significant problems with this software in Mojave. Filemaker
have indicated that they will release an update sometime in November to address
this, but until then, please avoid installing Mojave if you want to maintain a
stress-free life.

Hi Ronni and others out there, has anyone who has updated noted any issues with
it? I’ve been busy with other things to do the update myself yet but keen to
hear how it is going by any whom have done the update?

Re: CAN I UPGRDE TO MOJAVE FROM HIGH SIERRA

2018-10-21 Thread Stephen Chape
Hi Marcus.
iMac must be 2012 or newer to run Mohave.

Here is the list:

Apple has said that any Mac introduced in mid-2012 or later will support macOS
Mojave, along with the 2010 and 2012 Mac Pro models if they have a Metal
capable GPU. That’s fairly descriptive, but if you want a specific list of
supported Mac hardware for macOS Mojave 10.14 then the following should be
helpful to you:

MacBook Pro (mid 2012 and newer)
MacBook Air (mid 2012 and newer)
MacBook (early 2015 and later)
iMac (late 2012 or newer)
iMac Pro (2017 or newer)
Mac Pro (late 2013 or newer, or mid 2010 and mid 2012 models with Metal capable
GPU)
Mac Mini (late 2012 or newer)
