Demand for the for the newest models have caused DDR (double data rate) module demand in China's clone market to skyrocket. In a time when channel stocks have been very thin, the China demand has sent prices soaring. To worsen the issue most major fabs are having yield or supply line issues bringing their lines from SDRAM onto DDR so prices seem set to rise even further over July.
