How do I update the firmware for a Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter? Current firmware is version 1.0.1. Web search suggests version 1.0.5 was released in 2017. I use the powered adapter to copy files from a flash drive stick to my iPad5. Today I got a notification to the effect that a firmware update is available for the Camera Adapter. I selected “do it later” from the options. But I cannot find a way to initiate the update.
Associated question. Is the Adapter firmware applied to the camera adapter, the iPad or to the memory stick?
