It gets worst when more applications are open. Definitely, try another mouse. I had exactly the same problem with the puck mouse which came with my G4. I've had no problems since moving to a Macally iSweetnet. Christian As much as I hate sending me too emails ... Me too! I have a TiPB 550, OS X.2.6 with 512MB RAM and a Logitech optical mouse. This has been happening since I installed 10.2.4. As a postscript; seems my mouse can be unfrozen by lifting it from the pad momentarily but this only allieviates the problem momentarily.
