I have to say that I upgraded from Software Update, so far without any of the 
reported issues (11D50) as far as I can tell.

Apple’s latest Mac OS X 10.7.3 release is a pain for some users due to its bugs 
surrounding CUI issues and the crashing of applications. Apple has already been 
investigating the issues with test groups, and it has apparently decided that 
the best thing to do at this point is remove the standard 10.7.3 update from 
its servers and provide users with the ability to only download the combined 
installation. This combo installer is not riddled with the CUI and app crashing 
errors asexplained in our report from yesterday.

Hi Brian,

Apple removed its online download page for the standard (client) 10.7.3 
download, they only have the Combo OS X 10.7.3 for download.
Also, Software Update now provides users with the Combo Update.

This new build is reportedly showing up as “11D50b” instead of the client’s 
“11D50″ labelling.

People who installed the client OS X 10.7.3 need to manually download the Combo 
Update from the link I gave previously:

No, you need to download the Combo Client Update, the build should be 11D50b … 
NOT 11D50.

Also don't forget to Repair Permissions after the installation completes.
You will likely see a few 'Permissions differ on Library

Don't get a shock if Repair Permissions says it 
is going to take 1HR 29Mins Š I did Š but it 
actually only took 5 mins ;-)

As long as you eventually see Permissions repair complete you are OK

Everything went smoothly and no problems noticed 
since installing the update very early this 
morning.

Woohoo! Importantly for those of you in corporate or education environments, 
especially DET SOE4 schools, this update fixes the active directory binding 
bugs. I've just successfully joined a school Lion 10.7.3 server to the domain. 
Now to test the iMacs!

 This did not happen when I updated to OS X 10.7.2 …
 
 Opened Terminal and entered the terminal command to show it again, and now 
 I’m happy.
 
 For anyone who has forgotten the Terminal Command.
 Show User ~/Library in OS X Lion:
 
 Launch Terminal from Spotlight or Launchpad  Utilities, and enter the
 following command to show the directory:
 
 chflags nohidden ~/Library/
 
 Click Return

 As long as you eventually see “Permissions repair complete” you are OK
