I have been using the Griffin RoadTrip for over a year now and am very
happy with it. It is used in a 2x4 pick up truck and often goes over
some very rough roads but has never missed a beat.

I'm considering getting a Griffin RoadTrip since I can't seem to get

It seems to be the better rated product on the Apple website but I'm
interested to know if anyone on the mailing list has any experience
with it.

Thanks
Ruben

I had trouble with the DLO as the weight/torque of the iPod caused it to
rotate in the cig lighter socket causing the ipod to fall to the floor.
Fortunately my dealer took it back.
After much homework I bought the kensington unit below and I am very happy
with it.

The newer ipods need charging and docking both through the same port.

About $130. Worked well. Fits any size iPod.

I recently bought a new car and it no longer fits into the cigarette lighter
due to the confined configuration even with the various adaptors.

I am now looking for a new but similar product.

 Any ideas?

And ANY OFFERS for the original unit. Still have the original packet and all
the adaptors etc. The current price for the unit is still around $125

DLO Transpod works for me. It has a normal adaptor and an extra long
adaptor which works well.

Scored very high in all the comparos that I looked at, although must
admit quality seemed to drop after use, but that's been the case with
all such units that I've bought. (Wonder why?)

Daniel sells them.
