Hello all,

What would be involved if one wanted to use an Apple Cinema display 
to watch television?



I digital TV tuner with a DVI-out port on the back of it.

i tried to hook up a ADC 23 to a Humax HD-7000 hi-def digital set top
box with DVI connector.
It does NOT work.
i read somewhere that Apple did not put the JVC decoder chip in their
ADC displays.
apparently set top boxes output an encrypted signal on the DVI connector ?

there's plenty of people that want to use their apple displays for TV.
but i dont know anyone that has succeded.
