Hi there Has anyone found a weather app for iPhone like TheBom widget? http://www.radocaj.com/TheBom/ Stuart Breden PO Box 132 Kalamunda WA 6926 Hm Ph: (08) 9257 1577 Wk Ph: (08) 9291 4599 Mbl: 0417 053 266 -- The WA Macintosh User Group Mailing List -- Archives - http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/archives.shtml Guidelines - http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/guidelines.shtml Unsubscribe - mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: Weather App
Yep it is called BOMRadar and is a free download from the App store. I use it anytime rain threatens as I hate riding in the rain - I'm such a whoos!! Re: Weather App
Hi Stuart The best one I have found is Pocket Weather AU , which uses BOM info. It also has the rain radar built in although I prefer the BOMradar Cheers Peter F On 27/10/2008, at 8:36 PM, Stuart Breden wrote: Hi there Has anyone found a weather app for iPhone like TheBom widget? http://www.radocaj.com/TheBom/ Stuart Breden PO Box 132 Kalamunda WA 6926 Hm Ph: (08) 9257 1577 Wk Ph: (08) 9291 4599 Mbl: 0417 053 266 -- The WA Macintosh User Group Mailing List -- Archives - http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/archives.shtml Guidelines - http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/guidelines.shtml Unsubscribe - mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- The WA Macintosh User Group Mailing List -- Archives - http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/archives.shtml Guidelines - http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/guidelines.shtml Unsubscribe - mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: Weather App
Yes Eugene, but only give you the radar. No temperatures or forecast etc. Stuart Breden PO Box 132 Kalamunda WA 6926 Hm Ph: (08) 9257 1577 Wk Ph: (08) 9291 4599 Mbl: 0417 053 266 On 27/10/2008, at 8:44 PM, Eugene wrote: Yep it is called BOMRadar and is a free download from the App store. I am awaiting a reply to my emailed enquiry to radocaj.com. What might I not be doing, clicking or entering that I should be doing? Re: Weather App
Hi Ian, Click on the 'i' (top right of Widget) and change the State to Western Australia and set what City / town etc you want. Then click 'Done' Cheers, Ronni On 27/10/2008, at 9:24 PM, Ian Reid wrote: On 27 Oct 2008, at 8:36 PM, Stuart Breden wrote: Hi there Has anyone found a weather app for iPhone like TheBom widget? http://www.radocaj.com/TheBom/ Hi all My problem with TheBom widget, which I downloaded from Apple's list of recommended widgets on two separate occasions, is that it won't give me anything other than Melbourne, although it is advertised as now providing for hundreds of sites.
