Hi Peter,
Usually any evening after 4:30 pm.
But give me a call first on (Home) 9274 2601 or Mobile 04 1919 9085.
Will be going to daughters place for dinner leaving about 5:30 pm
tomorrow.
Might have to take dog to the vet on Thursday but should be back home
about 6pm.

Friday between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm is OK.
Or maybe sometime Saturday if you are sure about buying it ?

I have a Sony WEGA Widescreen CRT TV for sale.
66cm only about 4 years old.
All you need is a Set Top Box and you have digital TV.
Great condition with perfect picture going for $100.

I just moved on to an LCD Integrated.

mac mini widescreen tv out

2005-12-03 Thread Geoff Richards

i have a mythtv box that i use as a VCR
i then use mplayer on my powerbook with ati 9600 graphics to watch
those recordings on a widescreen TV using a standard composite cable.

my question is can a mac mini can output widescreen 1024 x 576 PAL
through its... Apple DVI to Video Adapter, as sold separately ?

-geoff

There is also the option of using 2 or more internal DVB-T tuners
in your Mac's PCI slots, not too sure what sort of software would
let you do all this though.
I'm currently toying with this idea but using a spare Linux PC
running MythTV, apparently my Macs will also be able to view TV via
ethernet through this box.

A video router? ;-)
It will live in the lounge room as it has a flash graphics card.
Thats the theory anyway :-)
Let me know if you are interested in how I fare...
