[Warzone-dev] Tech_tree in repository

2007-08-27 Thread Martin Koller
Hi list,

in search of documentation regarding what do I have to research to get a
specific weapon, etc., I found the following document:

http://www.pivotalgames.com/pumpkin/Downloads/Warzone/Tech_tree/WZ_Tech_Tree.zip

Now I ask myself: why isn't this in the SVN repository ?
I think this is very important information, but currently hard to find.

Generally, documentation is missing in SVN.
E.g. there are some things I still don't understand in the game or am getting
to learn by try and error.
Isn't there any kind of handbook which could also be put into SVN ?

Any chance that this patch gets committed ?
The current de.po is unusable due to the wrong encoding in the file.

All my best wishes to you Ariston! :)
Well, will we release it then, without the mac build, or wait?

Apply r1579 to 2.0 to fix the progress bars first.

 Done in r2433.

Great, thanks! That was one thing that always bothered me about 2.0.

Releaseing 2.0.8 with the current changes to the 2.0 branch, as
mentioned in the changelog at least, is fine with me. In fact I think
it's more than just fine with me, IMO it's a good idea.

I am still without a home and therefore cannot use my Power Mac to
determine how far away 2.0 is from working on the Mac, but the last
time I tried it was very broken and nobody was able to help me track
down the changes that caused the crashes. Sorry that I can't work on
it now - it will have to wait until I find a home.
