No, it is not possible unless that variable's value is exposed somehow at 
the html source.

If it would be possible to read values of PHP variables using any tools 
just like that, then it would not be possible to write secure applications 
in PHP at all.

I wonder if you can get php session variable such as username. Im using 
watir to verify after a user logged in and hit submit it will display the 
username who submit the item.it is not saved in cookies. Thank you
