Re: [wtr-general] RubyMine with Watir, Cucumber, and Page objects

Chuck, I know Rubyists are usually scared off by the overhead, but I
started using Aptana Studio (Eclipse geared toward Ruby - as a standalone
or a plugin) with my new company, and I've been very impressed, especially
since Eclipse can integrate with Assembla/Bugzilla/SVN/CVS/GIT/etc, etc,
etc. And, it's free, which is always nice.

I do not think you have to do any setup. I think it scans the gems you
have installed and tries to figure out what to do.

[wtr-general] RubyMine with Watir, Cucumber, and Page objects

2012-03-30 Thread Chuck van der Linden
OK so at the conference I was pretty much convinced (especially during the
workshop) that I should be ditching notepad++ and going with RubyMine.
Question is, are there any tricks I need to know about to getting it setup
to work with watir for automation projects?

Does it just know about Watir, Cucumber, etc all on it's own? Do I have to
do some special setup Does it know how to format feature files etc?

Any good tutorials or quickstart guides people would recommend?
