[Wayland-bugs] [Bug 98689] Thinkpad 13 trackpoint is very slow

2016-11-11 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98689

Bug ID: 98689
   Summary: Thinkpad 13 trackpoint is very slow
   Product: Wayland
   Version: 1.5.0
  Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: NEW
  Severity: normal
  Priority: medium
 Component: libinput
  Assignee: wayland-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
  Reporter: a...@corcoles.net

Hi,

My trackpoint is very slow. Cranking it up with the desktop environment's tools
is not enough.

Tried poking with:

$ cat /etc/udev/hwdb.d/71-trackpoint.hwdb
mouse:unknown bus type:v0002p000e:name:Elantech PS/2 TrackPoint:
 MOUSE_DPI=1000@500

but no messing manages to change anything.

Help?

Alex

So bug 756579 is fixed, is there more stuff blocking this bug?

[Wayland-bugs] [Bug 91135] Two-finger scrolling jumpy with Synaptics touchpad

--- Comment #27 from Milan Bouchet-Valat  ---
Sorry, the part about c) in my latest comment is nonsense. I started X with the
F24 libinput, so there's no chance it would work. How can I test c) correctly?

BTW, single- and double-finger tapping doesn't work even without the hwdb patch
now. Not sure what happened (I'm using another laptop now, so not sure when it
stopped working).

Thanks. Testing revealed a typo in the hwdb file: it's PAVILION with a single
L. Then a) and b) are OK. c) doesn't work, i.e. two-finger tapping no longer
triggers a right click.
