I'm glad to see President Obama was so forgiving after that really ugly  
incident not long ago.
 
I'm talking, of course, about the time his motorcade came through Mayberry  
and Barney wrote him a parking ticket.  =)
 
In all seriousness...I can't think of a better person for this spot,  
especially to reach baby boomers.

James Best and George Lindsey on Alfred Hitchcock

When we visited with James Best last week he told us he appeared in some of 
the old Alfred Hitchcock Hour programs.  I found one he was in this weekend 
and watched it.  It was a really treat because our good friend Goober was 
also in it in a rather dramatic role. The lead role was played by Mr. Haney 
from Green Acres.  If you would be interested in seeing it just go to 
www.hulu.com and search for Alfred Hitchcock's The Jar.   On a side note, 
today is our 40th anniversary.  Sure wish good old Newton Monroe would pass 
through town so I could do some shopping.  Thought about a septic tank, but 
we are on the city services so can't use that.
