The 1978 NBC TV special STEVE MARTIN: A WILD AND CRAZY GUY closed with a bit that has Steve knocking on neighborhood doors and asking to to be invited into living rooms. Lo and behold, one of the residents is none other than Rance Howard. (btw - not a setup for the show; just one of those fun circumstances that life throws our way from time to time.)
