Just saw a young Charlie Ruggles in the 1932 production, Trouble in Paradise. Well before I paid any attention to the character on screen, there was no mistaking Charlie's voice. Today I caught about the last ten minutes of CHiPS on MeTV. I don't know what the storyline was but one of the guest stars appearing was none other than Mayberry's favorite mechanic, Goober Pyle. Burt vs Dan
What I want to know is what did Dan Goodwin do for fun before he starting picking on me. I think he probably either worked on an excursion boat or else he spent his time visiting old people's homes where he would loosen the bolts on the wheelchairs.
