...to Jacob for sharing the YouTube link to the Howard home movies -
really interesting and fun to watch.  Just about at the :22 second mark,
you can see a guy in the crew bending over in the background to pick
something up (stones?) from the ground. I wonder if this was the same guy
who actually threw the stone into "Meyers Lake" in the opening scene, since
Ronnie Howard couldn't reach the water?

Immediately following the end of the home movie clip, there is an
interesting 1985 appearance of Andy Griffith on the Letterman Show - about
8 minutes long.

Watched the Carol Burnett anniversary show.
It showed Ken Berry kissing Carol.
A picture of Andy Griffith.
Carol spoke of how Jim Nabors was on her show and how she was going to miss
him.

Antenna TV shows the Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson.Burt Mustin
was on the show.he sure could make Johnny laugh.

That's a great story Larry!
Yes, Jim was a wonderfully personable person.  I once found myself standing 
next to him in a buffet line, in the 70s.  
I wondered how he could eat that, after eating Aunt Bee's cooking..haha :)
