First, thanks Jeff for that link to the column by "Sean of the South" - a very touching, well-written article. And, from "McHale's Navy" (a show I haven't noticed a TAGS alumni on), there was Roy Roberts, the big shot editor, Mr. Jackson, in "Andy on Trial", as an Admiral - he was perfect in that role.
