You're welcome. I enjoy posting any articles or links I think would be
worth passing on to TAGS fans. When you step back and think about it, it's
pretty amazing how today we're still reminded of  things from a program
that stopped production over 55 years ago.

I hope you're right and somebody at Checkpoint Chickie uses those lines
when they're stopped by the sheriff!

Happy Birthday to the Blood Brothers Chapter

The Blood Brothers chapter of The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club in
Macon, Missouri celebrated our 10th anniversary on February 5 (even though
it is official on February 7).  We enjoyed visiting about TAGS and finding
references to "ten" and "tin" (the traditional recognition for a tenth
anniversary) in all the episodes.  After lunch, we played games such as Pin
the Badge on the Sheriff, Mayberry Musical Chairs (with Darling music),
Pickle on a Spoon race, and Mayberry Charades.  We ended our gathering with
door prizes.  It was wonderful to step back in time for a while and laugh
together as we celebrated our love of Mayberry.
