Make Room For Daddy dvd
I just received an email from Amazon releasing some old TV shows on dvd. The 5th season of Make Room For Daddy with the Andy Griffith pilot was included on this dvd. The reviews were very critical about chunks of dialog missing and being very heavily edited. I think they were made by Questar. Does anyone have this DVD? What do you think about the quality? I've felt for a long time that TV Land is looking for a younger audience, with Class Reunion and The Big 40 it looks like maybe mid 30 to 40 yr. Our Church has been going thru the same thing with our music, trying to appeal to the younger crowd and at the same time keeping us oldtimers content. I don't think it's working at either place. I know that both have to look to the future, but you can't forget the past. And by the way I also have the DVD of The Joe Shalbotnik Show, however they left off the laugh track.
