As for his question about where "The Ball Game" was filmed, I asked George Lindsey (Goober) himself that very question back in 2006. He told me the ball field was filmed in the San Fernando Valley north of Beverly Hills. He didn't tell me the actual name of the ball field, but I do know it definitely was not on the 40 acres lot. As for Jeff's comment about not seeing a pole at Franklin Canyon where Mr. McBeevee gets into his truck, when I was there last year the wooden pole has been replaced with a metal one. Someone told me there was a big storm a couple of years earlier that snapped the wooden pole we see on the show, so they replaced it with a metal one. I got a picture of it while there. I tried to find where Andy met Mr. McBeevee as he climbed down the tree, but couldn't. Franklin Canyon is a TAGS fan's heaven since trained noticers can walk/see/touch the very places we see on so many episodes.
