Dub Taylor seen on an episode of Hazel.
He was Mitch Brady, harmonica player for the Sunshine Girls.
You may remember him from Tags as the preacher on "A Mountain Wedding."

is in.
Hazel also has a friend, Rosie, who is also a made for a neighbor. Rosie was

2018-08-18 Thread Ron McLendon
While watching an episode of "The Twilight Zone", entitled "The Hunt", I
observed two TAGS alumni. The first was Arthur Hunnicutt (Mr. Wakefield), who
played the lead role of Hyder Simpson. The other was a lesser cast Orville
Sherman (from three TAGS episodes; Billy Gordon, Matt-the roadside vegetable
peddler, and Mr. Welch), who played a secondary role of Tillman Miller. IMDB
listed both actors as rather accomplished, more than you'd realize. I love
seeing bit-actors from TAGS on other shows, then realizing they had a very
respectable career. Even if they may have had an on-screen appearance for say
20 seconds on TAGS, it is still notable. It just goes to show that TAGS is
etched in our minds and hearts.

TAGS fans,

Just spotted one of the Bookie Barber's co-horts on "Get Smart".  He was
playing a henchman and didn't have any lines.  Funny how a guy like that--who
was probably as nice as anyone off-stage--could make a career out of playing
bad guys just because he sortof looked sinister.

I don't know his name, but he's the rather round-faced guy who Barney wonders
what he would have looked like without the facial.

2006-10-16 Thread Dan Goodwin
Having been raised back in those days, I enjoy the many westerns that
abounded in the 60s. Have Gun, Will Travel is my favorite, but that's got
nothing to do with this post. Anyway, I flipped around and caught Gunsmoke.
It was an "outlaw falls in with a group of nuns" story. You've seen these
storylines before. But what was interesting was that Aneta Corseaut was one
of the nuns. I kept wanting her to get fired up and give the bad guys one
of those looks like she used to give Andy. When you can throw down one of
those looks on somebody, heck, you don't need Marshall Dillon!
