I love how they incorporated references from the crew and actors' real lives...Like Frank Myers, who Andy was supposed to evict. There was a Frank Myers, an assistant director on TAGS for that link. And in the last B/W episode with Jerry Van Dyke, I have always loved the location Andy sends him to for the job of school crossing guard. "Jerry, you go down to the corner of Rockford and Haymore...." And we all KNOW where that is. 😉. Of course there's the Snappy Lunch, Floyd's Barber Shop, actual businesses in Mt. Airy.
