I finally finished my Season 6 set of TAGS the other day. I tried to
watch only a couple shows at a time in order to make it last longer!
I enjoyed watching Goober's Replacement, since I could not remember
the last time I had watched it (no TV Land at our house). This
episode has given me a greater appreciation for the character of Flora
Malherbe. I don't think that Flora comes off as well in Eat Your
Heart Out because of her relentless pursuit of Andy, though it is a
very funny episode and Alberta Nelson did a great job in the role.
But she really shines in Replacement. I like her relationship with
Goober. They seemed to click! I only wish that Flora had been
given a continuing role as Goober's girl. I think it would have been
a great addition to the show! It seems odd that they didn't write her
into another episode until nearly the end of Season 8. Too bad we
didn't see more of Flora!
