[wdvltalk] A few final questions...
Hi All, Firstly, Linda: will the archives remain online? I often find myself searching them if I have a problem I know has been discussed in the past. If the archives are to be removed by internet.com, is there any chance that one of us could take the raw data and publish it somewhere? Secondly, everyone: I'm working on a project involving MySQL currently using ISAM databases. There may be a future requirement for Transactions and so I'm thinking of switching to innodb. Does anyone know if there are any risks associated with making this change? Linda said that using the WDVL name for it would be frowned upon (which is fair enough) so we'll need a different name, but it'll be the same community. Yeah, but seing as the latest news on the website dates from 2005 and it's still not _native_ clustering, I'm still not convinced. Especially as MySQL now has functionality for stored procedures and (using Innodb) has transaction support.
