I have the following question
On my page I have a drop down menu where user selects some texts from db
and it is then inserted into into ace editor. the user then saves the
script using bootstrap modal with a new name.
After he enters the new name of the text it is saved, but the drop down
menu list is not updated.
here is my code
this populates drop down
<ul class="dropdown-menu" role="menu"

</ul>
my controler/editor.py for editor.html is

uid = auth.user_id

record = db((db.script.sc_user == db.auth_user.id) & (db.script.sc_user
== uid)).select(db.script.sc_name)
#print record
skripte = []
for rec in record:
skripte.append(rec.sc_name)
form=SQLFORM.factory(db.script.sc_name)
return dict(skripte = skripte, form = form)
