Re: ALCATRAZ! (Was: [OT] WOWODC Outing)
Greetings all, I look forward to seeing you both at the Rock and the Chieftan. According to my flight info, I am supposed to get into Oakland by 2pm local time, which gives enough time to fiddle with BART, and walk to my hotel digs (aka the oxymoron of the best a student salary can afford). Anyway, that should be plenty of time to make it to the Rock by that time. All I really need to do is to make sure that my lovely iPhone gives me directions, etc. Later, Dan The power of WO to the High Performance Computing developers. I think you would be more than welcome for either outing, but the Chieftan is likely going to require you to be 21. I think just that you have an interest in WebObjects is all the requirements that anyone is going to have. Students are certainly welcome! Re: ALCATRAZ! (Was: [OT] WOWODC Outing)
Being of legal drinking age in California (not sure what that is) is the only requirement for The Chieftan. The Thirsty Bear is a restaurant, so it does not even have that requirement. You are certainly welcome to join in!
