[libreoffice-website] MirrorBrain log parsing
Hello, given I had to compile MirrorBrain myself (and everyone knows about my severe lack of development skills :-) I would like to make a test run on the new server with the new base OS, before I finally make the switch. The plan is that all processes (rsyncing new builds, feeding mirrors etc.) are still done on the old server (bilbo1), from where I sync to the new one (bilbo2), and have the download.documentfoundation.org alias point to bilbo2. We then should see if the new setup performs as well as the old one, and with a TTL of 5 minutes, we can easily switch back to bilbo1 when needed. The only valueable data, however, is log files. I therefore did some quick test downloads and would like to ask Norbert and Kendy to see if their current parsers can still parse the log files in their new form. Here's an extract: http://pastebin.com/kCM9G70P Kendy, Norbert, can one of you confirm your parser still works, so we don't run into troubles (losing data) when I switch on the new machine? The above log is a mixture of IPv4 and IPv6, different clients, operating systems, and files/directories requested. [libreoffice-website] developing MirrorBrain
Hello, sorry for crossposting to both lists, but as the FDO one has lots of developers on it, and I wanted to raise their attention - without distracting them from important LibreOffice work, of course. ;-) Many of you may know that we rely on MirrorBrain for providing our downloads. It has proven to be very stable and reliable, but there are several improvements we have incorporated already - many of them purerly documentation related (better setup on our systems), but right now, we also face some issues with the packaging, that needs to be improved to run on recent platforms. Plus, we have some wishlist items, like live download statistics, which we want to implement. In a nutshell, I think it makes sense to get a bit deeper involved in MirrorBrain development. We are a large adopter of it, and if we improve it for our use, it makes sense to share that with the general public. Maybe we can join forces with other projects using it as well. I have started a discussion on the MirrorBrain list on that at http://mirrorbrain.org/archive/mirrorbrain/0187.html and would like to follow-up on our website list with details on how to coordinate that TDF-wise. If anyone wants to contribute, feel free to join, of course! [libreoffice-website] ODFauthors account request
Hello *, Could any admin create for me the ODFauthors account cico again and send me a new password? I already used that, but it seems it doesn't exist anymore; maybe it was deleted with other user accounts? Thank you! Re: [libreoffice-website] ODFauthors account request
I do not know if this is an issue for the website team or for the documentation team, but I suspect that ODFAuthors accounts are managed by the latter. In any case, Cico is one of our Italian localization heroes, and is coordinating several resources. Thanks for the attention. Re: [libreoffice-website] ODFauthors account request
I'll take care of it today, if one of the other ODFAuthors admins doesn't get to it first. As Italo suspects, it's nothing to do with TDF/LO website team. --Jean On 16/05/2013, at 7:53, Italo Vignoli italo.vign...@gmail.com wrote: I do not know if this is an issue for the website team or for the documentation team, but I suspect that ODFAuthors accounts are managed by the latter.
