Re: [libreoffice-website] Download links to .MAN file

2013-10-19 Thread Florian Effenberger

Hello,

Ron wrote on 2013-10-18 18:38:

There is a question on ask.libreoffice.org where two users have reported
downloading LibreOffice and ending up with an installation file with a
.man extension instead of .msi. Both users are on Win 8. Does anyone
know why this might be happening?

Link to the question:
http://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/21822/how-do-i-open-download-file-man-in-windows-8/

we had this issue once before, and then it was due to wrong MIME types
on the mirror:
http://www.mail-archive.com/mirrors@documentfoundation.org/msg00541.html

Copying the mirror admin to this mail - Harri, maybe you can have a look?

Thanks a lot,

I think this bug is pretty offencive and useless. Can this bug be
removed from the bugzilla completely?

I have no idea - you need to poke Tollef, I don't have admin access to
our BugZilla.

It is offensive, but:

What the fuck good is a link to a non-JS version of the bug reporting
facility if I can't get there without JavaScript?

sadly he does have a point.

(I keep forgetting this doesn't reply to list by default)

[libreoffice-website] [Bug 70651] New: BUGZILLAASSISTANT: Link to Bugzilla does not work without javascript enabled

2013-10-19 Thread bugzilla-daemon
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70651

  Priority: medium
Bug ID: 70651
CC: website@global.libreoffice.org
  Assignee: libreoffice-b...@lists.freedesktop.org
Summary: BUGZILLAASSISTANT: Link to Bugzilla does not work
without javascript enabled
  Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
  Reporter: qu...@runcibility.com
  Hardware: Other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
   Version: unspecified
 Component: WWW
   Product: LibreOffice

Testing on Ubuntu 12.04.3 + FF 24 + NoScript 2.6.8.3

REPRO:

1) Open https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/bug/
2) If enabled, disable javascript for the libreoffice.org domain
3) Click on the [bugzilla] link:

It is also possible to use [bugzilla], with a more complex interface, instead
to report a problem.

RESULT:
The page reloads and the body of the page (below the header banners) appears
blank. There is no obvious way to get to FDO or back to the previous BSA
screen.

EXPECTED:
To be taken to this page on Bugzilla where one can enter a new LibreOffice bug:
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=LibreOffice;bug_status=UNCONFIRMED;version=?

NOTES:
Right-clicking the link and selecting 'Open in a New Tab' will properly open
the link

2013-10-19 Thread Jean Spiteri
Can someone push a change I made to the BSA that fixes this? It's in
https://github.com/Liongold/www-bugassistant in a branch named patch-1.
Please don't merge the other branches.

Can that guy otherwise be blocked. That he at least should make a new
account. I REALLY don't want to tollerate this. If we tollerate this
then it is going the wrong way.
