[libreoffice-website] Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Untranslatable string on website
Thank you Michael, for digging up the old threads. Just the other day, on the Spanish Telegram channel, somebody was wondering why the “Start Certificate Manager” button didn’t seem to do anything, and then Juan Carlos from the Spanish team kindly explained to them that they needed to install external key management software. If we had that message translated, I guess much confusion would have been solved. I hope that this is addressed in the new website codebase at least. Oh, so the page is manually updated after all. I stand corrected. Then, why not move that information to the wiki so any of us in each translation team can take that burden off you at any point? After all, this page exists: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Language/Contributors Let’s integrate everything in one place to avoid confusing people and visitors. -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: website+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/website/ Privacy Policy: https://www.documentfoundation.org/privacy
[libreoffice-website] Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Translation contributors page not updated
That page is automatically updated by the software itself whenever a user logs on and works on something. Since we translators don’t use it anymore, how do you expect it to still be up to date? -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: website+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: https://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/website/ Privacy Policy: https://www.documentfoundation.org/privacy
[libreoffice-website] Re: [libreoffice-l10n] download page new style
Hi Cor, For the Spanish site, I asked for it on Redmine, but as Luca notes, it will be rolled out globally with Pootle translation support in the near future. Forwarding to the website mailing list. BTW, is the code of this new site under version control? First of all: the new libreoffice.org site is great, personally I'm totally fell in love with the splash screen. However in http://www.libreoffice.org/#1 the download circle or the text is misplaced, for on lower screen resolutions than (1280*1024) you can't read the Discover more. text. Can anyone take care of this? Yes, that’s a lot of spam. I suggest to put a captcha, or remove that comments plugin altogether. On Mon, Nov 12, 2012 at 8:28 AM, Charles-H.
