thanks for your words.

I worked for about 16 years for the OOo/LibreOffice community and spent
nearly all my spare time to it. But I missed the support and respect for
my work especially during the last three years of my active contribution.

For this reason I decided to stop my active contribution and not to
renew my TDF membership. I was one of the 'founder' of TDF (I was also a
founding member of the association, which created TDF) and a (deputy)
member it's first board.

I also never got any resources (hardware etc.) from TDF to do my
volunteer work. TDF and it's marketing team never showed any interest in
my work with the Plone instances. I even got  some sarcasm about my
passion for the CMS for some time.

Regards,
Andreas

as far as I know the new extensions-templates-website does not support
such messaging. The former site was driven by three Plone add-ons
(created in my spare time) which used messaging features of the CMS for
that. But all theses are gone with the 'migration' to the new CMS.

You could get the source code of the former site (and add-ons) from the
TDF repository at Github:

https://github.com/tdf

Because TDF decided to drop the use of Plone and the code on TDF's
Github repository I stopped the further development of the add-ons and
the buildout environment for the former Plone site. I moved to develop
for the Plone community only yet.

Regards,
Andreas

[libreoffice-website] Extension publishing

2020-06-26 Thread Daniel Armando Rodriguez

Hi

A member of the hispnic community uploaded an extension and was waiting
for its publishing until yesterday when he asked if anyone had insights
in the process.
As I personally don't and would like to give an explanation I'm asking
you for for a roadmap of the process.
Another thing is that he didn't got any notification when the extension
was published, as in fact it was.

Thanks in advance.

there will no approval of a project, if the author will not submit the
project for publication. The state of the project is currently 'private'
and not in the review queue.

But there is an issue with the structure / content of the extension. The
description.xml points to the subfolder 'registration' and the file
'license.txt' in this subfolder. The later one doesn't contain the
Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license text
or a link to the appropriate website with the license text. The author
should fix this within an updated release file.

Kind regards,
Andreas
