Re: [weewx-user] Re: FINE OFFSET WH2900 / Ambient Weather WS-2902

2018-05-19 Thread Andy Kerekes
Hello Thomas!!!

I see you are using an Ambient 2902 as I. I can not for the life of me get
my 2902 to work with weewx. Is there a tread where I can find detailed info
on getting this ws-2902 to work off the console or any method?

I get the same on my -tail -f /var/log/syslog as kan6526 above.

Re: [weewx-user] Re: Steel Guages and driver update question

2018-05-19 Thread Steve2Q
Hi Gary..I did the upgrade to 3.8.0 and so far all is well. I will have to
check the clock on my console (Peet Bros Ultimeter) after 24 hours or so to
see if the autocorrection in the driver is working. Up till now, I have
been using an older version of the Ultimeter driver as the newer ones did
not update the clock. Lets see if the one included with the upgrade works.

Next I have to start reading up on how to include some forecasts. I did try
to put WU on the Steel Gauges scrolling banner, but that did not work
possibly because; a. I had to do more than just set enable = true under
[[WU]] in weewx.conf and/or b. WU is not accepting my API.

Thanks again, Steve

I'm sorry. I don't really speak German. I mistook the word "zurück" for "

Vielen Dank! I'm thrilled that the Centigrade conversion works. Is your
C_pomonella.html automatic?

I'm surprised you grow apples in Zurich because of the altitude. Does your
codling moth forecast match the university predictions there? -ccr-

According to the WU support thread the free tier is gone (no new signups)
and existing will go away at some point

Re: [weewx-user] Re: Realtime updates for custom display

2018-05-19 Thread mwall
bruce,

you could do this using weewx, influxdb, and grafana.

use the weewx-influx extension to send data to an influxdb server. set
weewx-influx to send loop data, not just archive data.

then display the data from influx using grafana

you will see data as soon as the airmar sends it

no programming required, but you do have to install and configure influxdb
and grafana. both of those are really easy now (they have come a long way
in the past two years).

[weewx-user] Ambient WS-2902

2018-05-19 Thread Andy Kerekes
Hello!!!

Can someone please point me to the correct area or post. I installed weewx
on a raspberry pi 3 and all seemed to install correctly until I came to the
driver. I do not have a USB setup instead I have an Ambient ObserverIP and
a meteobridge running a meteotemplate v17 setup correctly at
www.nicomaparkweather.com but am really interested in running the weewx
setup also. I am somewhat confused on the setup and do not see an option
for my ws-2902 but as far as I can tell the WH2900 is the same. Is there a
forum showing this particular setup that anyone has run across? I have
searched these user groups and have not fount this particular setup.
