I used what you said and it's working like a charm. Are you going to maintain 
it in the future versions? I've read in another tread that this is undocumented.

You could do something like this:

#set $now = $current.dateTime.raw
#set $ago24 = $now - 86400
The temperature 24 hours ago was $current(timestamp=$ago24).outTemp

NB: This assumes that there is a record exactly 24 hours ago. If you're
willing to settle for something within 10 minutes of 24 hours ago, the last
line would be:

The temperature 24 hours ago was $current(timestamp=$ago24,
max_delta=600).outTemp
