These error messages have been converted to warnings and, at least for me, do
not show up for the test case described any more. Can we consider this fixed?

I was able to get something similar to all of those screenshots except for the
final 'failed to show dialogue' error message.

Nonetheless, I think this is a duplicate of bug #21564. Feel free to mark this

Can anyone confirm if this is still an issue? I'm not sure if gfgtdf's work on
bug #24927 might have helped here. Plus there's been a lot of conversion to
gui2 since 2009.
