[Wesnoth-bugs] [bug #25156] no keep generated in SoF Gathering Materials

2016-10-05 Thread John Gizis
Follow-up Comment #1, bug #25156 (project wesnoth):

I've experimented a little by just repeatedly loading the start of scenario,
and I'd say I get about 10 successful maps (with keeps) for every map that
doesn't have one. So you should be able to reproduce the result with some
patience.

[Wesnoth-bugs] [bug #25156] no keep generated in SoF Gathering Materials

2016-10-05 Thread John Gizis

Summary: no keep generated in SoF Gathering Materials
 Project: Battle for Wesnoth
Submitted by: wesnoth_user
Submitted on: Thu 06 Oct 2016 12:26:07 AM UTC
Category: Bug
Severity: 3 - Normal
Priority: 5 - Normal
  Item Group: Campaign
  Status: None
 Privacy: Public
 Assigned to: None
Originator Email:
 Open/Closed: Open
 Discussion Lock: Any
 Release: 1.13.5
Operating System: Mac

___

Details:

Attached is a savegame for a Sceptre of Fire / Gathering Materials
in 1.13.5 where no keep was generated so that I cannot recruit.

Note that if I load the initial scenario now I get a new map and it does have
a keep. So this might be rare failure.

(Note: I also posted in the forums about this.)

[Wesnoth-bugs] [bug #25144] LoW: crash when trying to start campaign

2016-10-05 Thread Zheng Lv
Follow-up Comment #3, bug #25144 (project wesnoth):

I did not run into use-after-free by following your instructions.

This is what I did:
0. Multiplayer
1. Local Game
2. Set game type to "Campaigns" and choose Legend of Wesmere
3. Press "Next"
4. Select difficulty level: Lord (Normal)

Then I had no trouble doing slot-selection and starting the game. Is there
anything I did different?

System and version info:
Gentoo Linux ~amd64
boost 1.61 built with clang 4.8 (with stdlib = libstdc++)
SDL2 built with gcc 5.4
wesnoth 1.13.5 built with clang 4.8

Follow-up Comment #1:

I think shadowm's conversion of the file menu to GUI2 has resolved this one.
