Yes. Unfortunately, it's not easy to get the sunsite.dk people to
install a custom filter. It's still being worked on.

I receive them as probe messages ("Messages to you from the wget mailing
list seem to have been bouncing. I sent you a warning message, but it
bounced. I've attached a copy of the bounce message."... "If this probe
bounces, I will remove your address from the [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list,
without further notice. You can re-subscribe by ..."), after the first two
tries were rejected from the university scanner...

Refusing mails larger than 50K would've stopped almost all the recent viruses
that have been sent here.

Refusing mails with "ScanMail Message" in the subject would've stopped all
the warning mails that accompany 98% of all those virus mails.

I'd suggest to change the status of this list (temporarily?). Only
subscribed members are allowed to send messages - although the current
virus can't do any harm to me, it's very annoying to get lots of
advertisment and virus via this list.

I'm afraid that this is only little help, since the current virus fakes
a from by any other address from address book. But maybe it will help to
reduce the garbage from the list.
